Keep all 3 frames open onscreen and while they are open they will appear in the 'Patterns' menu when you come to use it later.

Click back on your main image to activate it [top bar turns blue]

and go to ‘Layers’ ‘Load/Save Mask’ ‘Load from Disk’ and you will see a window like this, though your mask showing will be different to mine

Click on the image on the left and this will open your masks menu...scroll down till you find the fanned rectangle and click on it to select

It will appear in the preview. Check the rest of your settings are set as below, then click 'Load'

You will now see the mask appear like this.......

and you will notice a ‘Group’ has appeared in your ‘Layer Palette’ which consists of your background layer and your mask layer.

To make things a little easier to see,  click on the minus sign at the side of the group it will close the contents of the group leaving 'Group - Raster1' layer showing

Right click that layer , choose 'Rename' and rename it ‘Mask1’

As the glitter we will be using here has 3 frames, we have to have a ‘Mask’ layer to go with each frame, so 3 x mask layers in all. We already have 1 x mask layer so we have to duplicate till we have 3 in total.

[Some glitters have 5 or more frames so you would have to duplicate your mask layer accordingly]

So, right click ‘Mask1’ and choose ‘Duplicate’,

right click the 'Copy of...' and rename it ‘Mask2’

 *

Right click ‘Mask2’ and 'Duplicate',

right click the copy  and rename ‘Mask3’

This is what your layer palette should look like now

~~~~
Now for the glitter
Go to ‘Layers’ ‘New Raster Layer’
Right click the new layer and rename it ‘Glitter1’
Right click 'Glitter1'and ‘Duplicate’,
Right click the copy and rename ‘Glitter2’
 Right click 'Glitter2' and ‘Duplicate’,
Right click the copy and rename 'Glitter3'
These are the layers you should now have....
Drag the layers so that you have alternate layers of glitter and mask in this order...
'X' out all the layers except the first 2 [X out by clicking on the little eye at the end of each row]
 and click on 'Glitter1' to highlight [activate]
In the 'Materials' ‘Foreground and Stroke Properties’ box, click on the ‘Pattern’ icon ‘
Click on the pattern which shows there....
and this will open the ‘Material Properties' box.
Click on the pattern showing in the little preview window....
...and this will give you the patterns menu. You will be able to see your three frames of glitter
*
Take no notice of the numbers beneath each as these will differ depending on how many images you have open onscreen.
Just count your glitters 123
Now, click on the first of your glitters to select it....
*
 and it will appear in the 'Materials Properties' preview window....'OK' it and it will appear in your 'Materials' palette
With the 'Glitter 1' layer still highlighted in your 'Layer' palette, select the 'Floodfill Tool'  and click on your canvas to floodfill with your glitter
Now,‘X’ out those 2 layers in your palette and ‘un x’ the next two
 and click on the ‘Glitter2’ layer to highlight...
Click on the glitter showing in your 'Materials' palette [ which you've just used] and the 'Materials Properties' box will open again.
Click the 'Current Pattern' which will open the menu, and select the 2nd of your 3 glitter frames....
...'OK' it and it will appear in your 'Materials' palette.
With the 'Glitter2' layer still highlighted in your 'Layer' palette, click on your image with the 'Floodfill Tool' to floodfill with the glitter
'X 'out those 2 layers in the 'Layer Palette and ‘un x’ the last 2, click on 'Glitter3' to highlight
Click again on the glitter showing in your 'Materials' palette, open the menu and this time select the 3rd frame of your glitter
Making sure the 'Glitter3' layer is still highlighted in your 'Layer' palette,
Floodfill your layer
Now...'X' out all the layers except the bottom 2 and click on 'Glitter1' to highlight.
Go to 'Layers' 'Merge' 'Merge Visible'. This merges your first glitter layer and your first mask layer together on the same layer.
...then  ‘Layers’ ‘Merge’ ‘Merge Visible’
‘X’ out that 'Merged' layer also and 'un X' the last 2 layers, click on 'Glitter3' to highlight
