A Glitter
Mask [Part 2]
Now to add the picture tube.
Go to 'File' 'Browse',locate and open
your tube.
Go to 'File''Export' 'Picture Tube'
Type in the name of the file and 'Ok'
Next click 'Layers' and open a 'New Raster
Layer'
Right click it in the 'Layer Palette'
and rename it 'Picture1'

Select the 'Picture Tube Tool'
and click on the little image in
the preview window on the tools options palette to open the tubes menu....

...and select your tube. You will probably have to scale it
down. Click on your image to place the tube, if its too large go to 'Edit' 'Undo
Picture Tube', rescale and try again. Ive used a scale of 40 here

Use the 'Raster Deform Tool'
to
adjust the slant of your lady to match that of the mask if you like.
Hold your mouse over the little node which is at the end of
the line drawn out from the centre of the deform rectangle,
your cursor will change
to that of 2 arrows in a circle.
When you see the two arrows, click and hold
down your mouse on the node and drag the rectangle anticlockwise...the deform
rectangle will move like this....
*
and when you let go your tube will have followed.

Click on the 'Move Tool'
to remove the 'Raster Deform
Tool' and go to 'Adjust''Sharpness' 'Sharpen' to sharpen your image a little
because any rescaling of a tube or use of some tools blurs the image.
You can use the 'Move Tool' to drag your picture tube higher
up your image if you need to.
Now we need to have 3 'Picture' layers to go with our 3
'Merged' layers, so in the 'Layer' palette, right click the 'Picture 1' layer
and select 'Duplicate', right click the duplicate layer and rename it
'Picture2'. Right click the 'Picture2' layer, select 'Duplicate', right click
the duplicate and rename it 'Picture3'
Rearrange the layers so they look like this...

Now to add the text.
Go to 'Layers' and open a 'New Raster
Layer' and rename it 'Text1'
In the 'Materials' palette, click the pattern icon under the
glitter....

to reveal the 3 icon menu and select the solid black dot.
This changes your options from 'pattern' to a solid 'colour'

Click on the colour which appears in that box [the
'Foreground and Stroke Properties' box]to open
the colour palette, choose a colour for the outline of your text.
Do the same for the box below it [the 'Background and Fill
Properties' box] and choose a colour for the fill of
your text
Click on the 'Text Tool'
and select your chosen font from the
drop down menu. Choose the size, Ive chosen 30 here but yours will differ
depending on the size of your picture tube or your chosen font. Have it set to
'Floating' and the 'Line Width' to 1.0

Click on your image and the 'Text Entry' box will appear, type
in your text and 'Apply'.
Your text will appear surrounded by 'Marching Ants'

Go to 'Selections' 'Select None' to remove them.
If you'd like to angle the text , select the 'Raster Deform
Tool'
and turn your
text to match the picture tube.
*
Click on the 'Move Tool'
to remove the raster deform box and use it to slide your text into place,
then go to 'Adjust' 'Sharpness' 'Sharpen'
Now we need to duplicate the text layers so that we have 3, so
right click your 'Text1' layer in the palette, choose 'Duplicate', right click
the copy and rename it 'Text2'
Right click 'Text2' choose 'Duplicate', right click the copy
and rename it 'Text3'
Arrange the layers in the palette like this....

'X' out all layers except the bottom 3, click on the
'Merged' layer to highlight...

then go to 'Layers' 'Merge' 'Merge Visible'
'X' out that 'Merged' layer and 'un X'
the next 3 layers, click on the next 'Merged' layer to highlight....

...and go to 'Layers' 'Merge' and 'Merge
Visible'.
'X' out that 'Merged' layer also, and
'un X' the last 3 layers.
Click on the 'Merged' layer to highlight...

...then 'Layers' 'Merge' 'Merge Visible'.
'Un X' all the layers.
Click on the bottom of your 3 layers in the 'Layer' palette to highlight,
go to 'Edit' 'Copy'
Over in Animation Shop click on 'Edit' 'Paste'
'As New Animation'.
Go back to
PSP, click on the 2nd layer in your palette to highlight...'Edit' 'Copy'.......
go over to
Animation Shop and 'Edit' 'Paste' but this time 'After Current Frame'.
Back
to PSP...click on the top layer in your palette...'Edit' 'Copy'...over to
Animation Shop and 'Edit' 'Paste' 'After Current Frame'
Click on the 'View Animation'

see your finished animation.
