is already in your PSP program..

the folder where you have downloaded your chosen
font to,double

onscreen
or reduce it to your taskbar.While
it remains open or reduced to your taskbar it
will appear in the list of fonts in your PSP
program.

your PSP, go to 'File' 'Browse', locate your
gold foil , double click to open it
and leave it onscreen.
Now
to start...
go
to 'File' 'New' and open a 'New Image' 450
x 350 pixels, transparent.
~~
The Background ~~
In
the 'Materials' palette, click on the solid
black dot of the 'Foreground and Stroke
Properties' box
and
click on the centre of the 3 dots which appear -
the 'Gradient'.

Click
on the gradient which appears in the
box............

.........to
open the 'Materials Properties' box.
Click
on the gradient showing there to open its
menu..........

.............and
click on a silver/grey gradient to select it.

Click
'OK' and it will appear in your 'Materials'
palette, in the 'Foreground and Stroke
Properties' box.
Click
on the 'Food Fill Tool'
and
click on your blank image to floodfill with your
gradient.
~~~
The Netting ~~~
We
will be making the black netting on a
separate canvas and copying it across to the
main one,
so
go to 'File' and open a 'New Image' this time
size 200 x 300 pixels, transparent.
Working
with this new blank image [the bar at the top of
its window should be blue]...go to 'Effects' 'Plugins'
'Dragonfly' 'Sinedots II'
and
apply these settings. To move the dials you can click
hold and drag the pointers
clockwise/anticlockwise
Make
sure the 'Blend' is set to 'Alpha Add' and the
colour showing in the bar is white...if not just
click on the colour showing to open the colour
palette and select white
'OK'
it...and your netting will appear on the
new blank image.
With
that image still active [top bar blue] go to
'Edit' 'Copy'....click on the top bar of your
other image to activate that and
go to 'Edit' 'Paste' 'Paste as New Layer'
Your
netting will now be on your floodfilled image
and there will now be a 'Raster 2' in your
'Layer' palette. We will be working on this
image from now on so you can close the small one
with the netting. Click 'No' to save any
changes.
To
add the fairy/ballerina...go to Layers' and open
a 'New Raster Layer'
Click
on the 'Picture Tube Tool
click
on the picture which appears in its preview
window to open the menu.
Select
your fairy/ballerina from the menu ..........
......and
she will appear in the little preview window.
Alter the scale down to about ' 50 '....
and
click once on your image to place the fairy,
then go to 'Adjust' 'Sharpness' 'Sharpen'
You
can leave the netting as it is or you can turn
it round if you like.
Make sure you have
the netting layer'
highlighted in your palette [Raster2] then go to
'Edit' 'Mirror'
Be
careful
when moving the netting that you click on the
net itself and not the background.
Now
to add some gold highlight.
Go
to 'Layers' and 'New Raster Layer'. This
will be 'Raster 4' and for now click, hold and
drag it to the top of the layers in the 'Layer'
palette if it's not already there, we will move it later.
In
the 'Materials' box, set the 'Foreground and
Stroke Properties' box to 'Pattern'
Click
on the pattern which appears in the box to open
the 'Materials Properties' box, click on the
pattern showing there to open the menu.
Click
on your gold pattern to select it, and 'OK'
The
gold will now appear in the little box in the
'Materials' palette
Set
the other box, the 'Background and Fill
Properties' box to 'Transparent' as we want to
make an outline of a rectangle not a solid one.
Select
the 'Rectangle' preset shape ..............
........
set the settings to these.....
Draw
a rectangle inside your image
Go
to 'Effects' 'Texture Effects' 'Mosaic Antique'
.
Set
your settings to these, use the 'Navigate'
button to move over your preview image.
Click
'OK'
The
gold rectangle is on 'Raster 4' in your
'Layer' palette and we now want it to go behind the
fairy and net, so click hold and drag 'Raster 4'
down your 'Layer' palette to below
Rasters 3 and 2
