on the solid black dot of the 'Background and
Fill Properties' box, click on the colour that
appears there to open the 'Materials Properties'
box, and select the colour black.
We
want these colours the other way round, so
click on the little double ended arrow between
the boxes to 'Swap Materials' and they will
change places.

Go
to 'Layers' 'New Raster layer'

5' will appear in your 'Layer' palette. Click
hold and drag 'Raster 5' to the top of your
'Layer' palette.
Click
on the 'Text Tool'

On
the 'Tool Options' palette, click on the down
arrow to the side of the bar under 'Fonts' and
select your chosen font from the drop down menu.
Set the size,
I've set mine to 100 here, but
yours might differ depending on the style of
font you use.
Have
the 'Stroke Width' set to '1.0' and under
'Create As', set it to 'Floating', and 'Line
Style' should be '+Solid

Click
on your image to open the 'Text Entry' box, type
in your text and click on 'Apply'.
Your text
will appear on your image with 'Marching Ants'
round it.

If
you are not happy with the actual text ie its
too large/small or you wish to change the font
you can go to 'Edit' 'Undo Text' , it will
delete and you can start again.
To
move your text into position run your mouse
over the text until the cursor changes from a
cross with the letter A to a cross with double
ended arrows then click and drag.
With
the text still selected [marching ants] go to
'Effects' '3D Effects' 'Drop shadow and apply
these settings....

'OK'
it.
Go
to 'Effects' '3D Effects' 'Drop Shadow' again
and apply these settings, changing the blur size
and changing the colour to yellow by clicking on
the black square.

'OK'
it.
Go
to 'Selections' 'Select None' to deselect.
Should
you wish to reposition anything on your image,
click on the 'Move Tool'
and
you will be able to click and drag any of your
pieces around your canvas. Take care when
moving the net and the gold that you dont
move the background.
~~~ The
Frame ~~~
When
you are happy with your image, go to 'Layers'
'Merge' 'Merge All Flatten'. This puts all your
layers onto the one layer named 'Background' ready
to add a frame.
Go
to 'Image' 'Add Borders' and set your settings
to these....
Select the
'Magic Wand Tool'
....
and
on the 'Tools Options' palette, make sure the
'Mode' is set to 'Replace' and that 'Inside' is
set.
Click
inside your border and it will become
surrounded by 'Marching Ants'
In
the 'Materials' palette, click the little double
ended arrow to 'Swap Materials again so
that the gold is in the 'Foreground and Stroke
Properties' box.
Click
on the gold square to open the 'Materials
Properties' box. On the top right hand side of
this box you will see 'Texture' and a texture
already showing in a box beneath it. Click
on the little check box next to the word
'Texture' to tick it.
Click
on the texture which is showing in that box and
this will open a drop down menu. Scroll down to
where you see 'Polka Dot', click on it to select
and 'OK'
Your
gold foil has now changed to gold dots.
Using
the 'Floodfill Tool'
