How to Reduce or Remove the Thumbnails in the PSP X Layer Palette
This is the first thing noticeable in PSP X when you start adding layers...the thumbnails in the 'Layer' palette.
These are fine but if you have many layers, the palette just gets too large and can be pretty unnavigable.
They can be reduced in size or removed altogether.
If removed you can still get them to appear by holding your mouse over the layers.

In your PSP, go to 'File' 'Preferences' 'General Program Preferences'
Click 'Palettes' in the left hand window.
To reduce the size...........lower the number in the 'Size' box as shown below.....
...and your palette will look like this......
To remove them altogether.......untick 'Palette thumbnails'.....
...and your palette will look like this.....
...and if you untick 'Palette thumbnails' and tick 'Right Pane'.....
...your palette will look like this.....
