Using Blings

Sorceress in above graphic made
by me using Daz|Studio
~~~~~
You will need:-
Animation Shop
A 'Bling' style tube [an animated
sparkley]
A JPeg image/ready
made tag or photo to add the bling to.
~~~~~~~~~
Open Animation Shop, go to 'File'
'Browse' and locate your bling file. Double click to open the file .
It will look like this ......

Go
to 'View' 'Normal Viewing (1:1)

[Ive
scaled my images down so they will fit on this page]

If
your bling has a coloured first frame, in this case black, right click the first frame and select 'Delete'. It's
been coloured so that the bling [which is white] shows up in your folder. You don't want this
on your final image.

You
should now have this.....

Drag the slider across from bottom left
all the way along to bottom right to see how many frames the animation has.
[the F numbers are the frame numbers ...F:1, F:2 etc]

The
one I'm using here has 21 frames

Slide it back to the beginning again.
Go to 'File 'Browse' and locate the JPeg
you wish to add the bling to.
Double click to open it.
Close the 'Browse' so that it's out of
the way.
As the bling in this tutorial has 21
frames, we now have to have 21 copies altogether of the JPeg to go with it.
There are a few ways of duplicating,
you can duplicate each image seperately frame by frame or in batches, it
depends on how many frames you choose to highlight in one go and
duplicate. The end result should be that you have 21 frames. If you end up
with too many, just right click on each one and delete separately
So...right click on
your JPeg image and select 'Duplicate Selected'

It will now show F:2

Keep an eye on the frame numbers at
the bottom from here on
So we can see what
we're doing, with the image highlighted [top bar blue] go to 'View'
'Normal Viewing (1:1)

and
you'll see both frames next to one another

Go
to 'Edit' 'Select all' ....

and
both frames will be surrounded in blue [selected]
Then
go to 'Edit' 'Duplicate Selected'......

...and your first 2 frames will
have been duplicated, you'll now have 4 frames. [Remember to keep an eye on
the F numbers at the bottom]

If you slide the slider at the bottom
from right to left, you'll see your 2 previous frames
Ok ..go to 'Edit'
'Select all' again...

and all four frames
will be surrounded in blue....
...then
to 'Edit' 'Duplicate selected'....

You
will now have 8 frames

'Edit' 'Select all' again.......'Edit'
'Duplicate selected'
You will have 16 frames

Just 5 more frames to make :-)
If we duplicate those
last 16 we will have too many frames [32] so click on the last frame, frame
F:16 so that it alone is highlighted in blue....

...right click on it and select
'Duplicate selected'
You will now have a frame 17....
F:17...if you move the slider along to the right you will see it.

Now,
click that frame 17 so it alone highlights, then right click and duplicate as
before. Continue duplicating like this until you end up with 21 frames.

Thats the hard bit done!
Now slide the slider all the way back to
Frame 1..... F:1
Now to put the blings onto the graphic.
Click on the top bar
of your blings animation frames so that the bar turns blue and go to 'Edit'
'Select all'. The frames will be surrounded in blue [selected]

Go
to 'Edit' 'Copy'

Now...click on the top bar of the
frames with your graphic so it turns blue, and go to 'Edit'
'Select all' so that all the frames surround in blue......
and go to 'Edit' 'Paste' 'Into Selected
Frame'

You'll
now see your bling appear in all your picture frames attached to your mouse, if you move your mouse you
can place it where you want it. Click your mouse once and it will stay where
you put it.

Click the 'View Animation' icon
to see what it looks like. If
you're not happy with the bling's placement, click the icon again to close the preview and go to
'Edit' and 'Undo
Paste', which will remove the bling from your image......

and
you can add it again by going to 'Edit' and 'Paste' and 'Into Selected Frame'

Click the animation icon again to view
When you are happy with your animation,
go to 'File' and 'Save as' a 'CompuServe Graphics Interchange (*.gif)
