A Buildings
Tube .....there is one already in your psp program or you can click

~~~~~~~~~
Go
to ‘File’ ‘Browse’ and locate the fireworks tube, [Programme
files/ Jasc Software Inc/PaintShopPro 9/ Picture Tubes/Photo
Objects]
Double
click to open it. Hold down the shift key and press D to
duplicate, close the original because we want to keep that as it
is.
You
will notice 6 different colours of fireworks, each with 3 sizes.
This
fireworks tube you will already find in the menu when you come
to use the 'Picture Tube' tool. If you use this fireworks tube
as is, through your 'Picture Tube' tool, each click of your
mouse will randomly place one of the fireworks on your image. For
this tutorial however I want to use each colour separately which
means splitting the tube up and saving each bit separately. This
won't effect your original tube as we are working from a
duplicate.
We
only need to save 3 of the larger of the images, we can resize
when we come to use them
**So…using
your ‘Crop’ tool, draw it round the first of the images,
Click
on the tick to crop and your selection will appear in its own
window.
Go
to ‘File’ ‘Export’ ‘Picture Tube’. Give the file a
name eg, firework1 and ‘Ok’
Close
your firework.
Say
‘No ‘ to ‘Do you want to save changes’
Open
the original firework tube again, and using the crop tool again,
draw round the 2nd of the large images and export
picture tube as before, name it firework2
Do
the same with a 3rd
You
can now close any open fireworks.
Go
to ‘File’ ‘New’ and open a new raster image , size 400 x
400
In
the ‘Materials’ palette, set the ‘Foreground and Stroke
Properties’ box to ‘colour’
Click
on the colour which appears in the box to open the colours menu,
select black.
Using
the ‘Floodfill’ tool
,
click on your blank image to floodfill with black.
Click
on the ‘Picture Tube’ icon
and find the tube called ‘Buildings’
and
click on your image near the bottom a few times to place
buildings to form a skyline.
‘Layers’’New
Raster Layer’
In
the ‘Materials’ palette, select colours for your text in the
‘Foreground and Stroke Properties’ box and the ‘Background
and Fill properties’ box
Click
on the ‘Text’ tool icon
, choose your font, and size,
Click
on your image to open the ‘Text Entry’ box… type in your
text and ‘Apply’
Drag
the text to the required position, ‘Selections’ ‘Select
none’ to deselect
‘Layers’
‘Merge’’Merge Visible’
In
your ‘Layer’ palette, right click on ‘Merged’ and select
‘Duplicate’ from the menu
Right
click on that layer and again select duplicate. Keep duplicating
until you have 8 layers altogether.
